August’s Student Employee of the Month

Camille Zanders, a freshman political science and economics major from Tallahassee, Fla., who serves as the alumni connection reporter, was chosen as August’s Student of the Month.  She attended Lincoln High School where she participated in the National Honor Society, Sand Volleyball, and Indoor Volleyball where she served as captain.  She graduated cum laude and was a 24 Karat Gold Senior.  She chose to work with The Hornet Tribune because she always had a knack for writing. All throughout grade school her teachers praised her writing skills whether it was for a research paper or for creative writing purposes.   “The Hornet Tribune gives me the opportunity to use my talent in a productive way,” Zanders said. “Not only do I now have a legitimate reason to be writing, the organization also helps me to improve my skill as my stories are edited and critiqued by more experienced individuals.
