T.I. & Tiny Deny Sexual-Abuse Allegations
February 4, 2021
Famous for their hit reality tv show, “T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle,” rapper T.I. and his wife, Tameka ‘Tiny’ Harris, are under some huge fire right now. Earlier this week, some heavy allegations were made against them by their former friend, Sabrina Peterson, who posted a series of DM screenshots on her Instagram story. In those direct messages were alleged victims of sexual assault by the rapper and his wife.
Peterson, who alleges T.I. held her at gunpoint, spoke out on her Instagram account about the sexual abuse facilitated by both the rapper and his wife.
“The sad part about being a woman & BEING A BLACK WOMAN IS THIS! The public PRAISES OUR PREDATORS! @troubleman31you PUT A GUN TO MY HEAD IN FRONT OF CHILDREN & I NEVER CALLED THE POLICE ON YOU! But for years you have painted me as the VILLAIN! AS BLACK WOMEN! It’s hard to heal from RAPE, VIOLENCE OR ANYTHING BECAUSE YOU ARE PAINTED AS THE PROBLEM OR REASON THIS HAS HAPPENED TO YOU! LETS NORMALIZE THE ALLOWING BLACK WOMEN TO HEAL!”
Many of these alleged underage victims described being drugged and taken advantage of while some described their experience as consensual with monetary benefits. As the claims became more and more prominent in the news, T.I.’s rep released a statement on Friday, Jan. 29 denying all of the allegations and claims.
“Mr. and Mrs. Harris want to be on record and more importantly want the public to know they emphatically deny in the strongest way possible the egregiously appalling allegations being made against them by Sabrina Peterson,” the statement read. “The Harrises have had difficulty with this woman for well over a decade. They are taking this matter very seriously, and if these allegations don’t end, they will take appropriate legal action.”
After the statement by T.I.’s rep was released, Peterson took to Instagram once again and wrote, “LET’S TAKE A LIE DETECTOR TEST!” Hinting at the fact that T.I. nor his representative are being truthful about the allegations made against him and his wife.
Both T.I. and Tiny took to their Instagram accounts to defend their family, brand, and reputation against Peterson’s claims further denying the alleged sexual abuse and the violent assault against Peterson.
“What we not going to do is open up the door to my bedroom,” T.I. shared. “We’ve never made anybody do anything. We never sexually trafficked anything.”
His wife Tiny, defending him against the alleged gun assault, stated, “Hold up… So you want your abuser to train your sons? He was just uncle 2 years ago…” she wrote, while posting screenshots of Peterson previously praising the rapper.
As the drama continues to unfold, Peterson has stated on social media that she has enlisted a lawyer and plans to file a lawsuit against the Harrises.
