The concert showcases high-caliber, diverse and technically proficient dance artists from professors James Atkinson Jr., Leonard Foust and Jerome Stigler. They will perform in the areas of ballet, modern as foundational techniques, as well as African, Hip Hop, Jazz, and Ballet.
Tickets are $12 general admission, $10 for a group of 10 or more and $6 for university students. Tickets can be purchased online at ticketreturn.com and at the Box Office an hour prior to the show.
There also will be matinee performances for students in public and private high schools. School groups must reserve seats by Sept. 30, 2022. Tickets are $5 per student. Chaperones and drivers are admitted free of charge at the rate of one for every 10 paid students.
The BFA/Dance Program is the first dance program in the state of Alabama to offer a bachelor of fine arts degree in dance. The dance degree is performance focused and prepares students to confidently enter into a career as a professional dance artist.
