Alumna Joy McNeal Scrutchings serves as the executive director of the Hoke McNeal Academy of Higher Learning (HMA), a Pre-K-5 school that infuses the state-standard curriculum with biblical teachings and musical topics in Decatur, Georgia. Scrutchings pursued a master’s degrees from Malone University where she studied curriculum instruction and professional development.
