Cheryl Lang served Alabama State University as the director of Health Center for 10 years.  She left and returned years later as the Director of Violence Against Women’s and Men’s Program (VAMP), offering educational and support services to victims of intimate partner violence.  She offers advice to those students who are pursuing a career as an education administrator:  “Be patient, love the community and stay focused on the purpose despite challenges.”
