Micah Sanders, Editor-in-Chief

Micah Sanders, a senior broadcast journalism major from DeSoto, Texas., about 20 miles outside of Dallas. Before arriving, he attended DeSoto High School where he participated in the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Art Honor Society, English Honor Society, Science Honor Society, and the IB Program.  Since arriving at Alabama State University in 2018, he has been a part of numerous clubs and organizations, including the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ), the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS), the Honda Campus All-Stars, The Hornet Tribune, and the W.E.B. DuBois Honors Program, just to name a few.

Road construction workers begin early in the day as they are repaving the Dunn-Oliver Acadome parking lot, which covers thousands of square footage.  As they lay the various coats of asphalt and smooth it down, students are finding alternative parking lots to park their automobiles as they physically attend classes on the campus.  Parking lot completion is scheduled for Feb. 20.
